How do you guide a well-known brand into properly unknown territory?
Yorkshire Tea is the UK's No.1 tea brand* — iconic, trusted and loved. With the iced tea category heating up and consumer habits evolving, they wanted to launch Yorkshire Tea Iced into foodservice. But this wasn't just another product launch. They wanted to become the go-to premium brand for iced tea in the trade, and they looked to us to help them navigate it.
Help an ambitious brand break new ground? We were all in.
We developed a comprehensive campaign strategy spanning four key elements: a launch-specific landing page on their website; targeted trade media; a paid digital campaign across LinkedIn, Google and META; and a show-stopping presence at the National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Trade Show.
But our involvement went beyond strategy. We were a true extension of the Yorkshire Tea team, collaborating closely on everything from campaign messaging to trade show logistics, and going above and beyond to design a striking, on-brand and reusable show stand that would stop operators in their tracks.
The results? The landing page quickly became their second most visited page, while our trade media placements drove significant traffic, especially with homepage takeovers on The Caterer. We reached 550,523 decision-makers through our digital campaign and had more than 300 visitors to the Yorkshire Tea-sponsored VIP lounge at the trade show, capturing dozens of high-quality leads ready to stock Yorkshire Tea Iced.
It just goes to show that when a well-established brand trusts you with something new, properly great things can happen.
