How can you create an identity for secondary school meals that genuinely spark students’ curiosity?

When Chartwells (part of Compass UK&I) tasked us with refreshing their secondary school identity, we wanted to craft something playful and modern that would genuinely connect with teens – all while providing some flexibility for individual schools to personalise it so it feels truly ownable.

We created a mantra that put students at the heart of the experience (after speaking directly to them). The memorable identity and toolkit was inspired by age group specific trends, all within the parameters of the School Food Standards – transforming school dining from a functional asset into something genuinely engaging.
